84 se tranny question

Alright, i've decided that i want to get rid of my 85 gsl, and get an 84 gsl-se. I found a guy that has one that im going to look at that supposivly has "no rust", and the only thing wrong with it is that the clutch won't disengage. He said he replaced the slave cylinder in it a while ago and it fixed it for a while, but then it locked up again. Throw out bearing, possibly. Any ideas and costs to fix would be appreciated.

i'll keep you in mind. It might be easier just to swap them out.

You can get the rebuild kits for the slave and master clutch cylinders. The throw out bearing isn't too expensive either. Or you can buy a cylinder from a junk yard.

I think the time invloved is the biggest expense.
