'84 Rx7 won't start

'84 Rx7 won't start

So yeah, the 7 I adopted won't turn over. It won't even give a kick. It clicking the starter earlier, but now it isn't even doing that. Stupid thing. Any suggestions?

The battery is good, not sure about the connections.
All the other electrical in the car won't work either. There is a smaller second wire coming off the positive on the battery but isn't really hooked to anything...where should this be connected?

New problem: turns over but floods, and gas leaks from the botton of the carb where a little moving arm is.

rx-7 carl where ya at need ya hare. I would guess it's a gasket if it's coming from the bottom of the carb.

I thought that too, but you know the little piece in the bowl in the middle that has a small arm underneath (right in the center)? Well it's leaking from just under there, and not allowing enough fuel to build up to get it going..
