I'm just going to tell you now before other people chime in and start flaming. One: Welcome to the forum!! Okay now at the top of the first gen section is the FAQ section which has just about everything about anything so you should be able to find whatever you need there. IF you can't then post up your problem and we can help ya out. You are officially part of the darkside

Welcome to the darkside.

I used to have a life. I played sports, ate healthy, slept plenty, listened to music, shot guns, built computers, worked... now all I have is my Rex. I don't sleep, all I hear is *brap brap brap brap* and spend all of my time covered in a constant film of grease, oil, and car fluids.

Anywho, the FAQ helped me a million. Plus too, find any member on here within 50 to 100 miles of you and I'm pretty much positive they wouldn't mind driving to help you or you driving to them. I've gotten parts, advice, help, friends, etc... nicest people ever these first gen guys. We're all for the most part picking and saving our way to restoring these.

Hi there, welcome to the forum. I been an owner of a 1981 GS model and now a 1984 GS model. We can try to help the best way you can. Also if the FAQ dosen't have a question, feel free to do a search because you might find it on one of the post from someone else. Just my 0.2 cents.

Good luck and once again Welcome!

alright, i'll look into the FAQ, thanks for the advice.
Yeah, i'm not all that bright when it comes to cars, so I'll have to look it over REAL closely.
Anyone know where i can get an airfilter for it online?

www.racingbeat.com, www.mazdatrix.com, are great sites to buy parts for your car.

That is a cool car!!!
When ever you got a question, just ask, and be as detailed as possible, and we
will try to help as best as we can.

I suggest you request this free catalog for RX-7 from:

http://www.blackdragonauto.com/

It is awsome!!! and all the parts are just for the RX-7.

Welcome to the club!!!

Unless you are totally out in the sticks, you should be able to get a filter at your local parts store.
