Talking 84 RX-7 won't start

Hi guys, my father in-law has an 84 Rx-7 that will not start. He has a new battery and new starter that is working; however, the starter does not turn over the engine -- at all. Any advise please?

I have not tried turning it by had, but it turns when we give the car a slight push by hand.

don't just clean at the terminal. you may want to pull the starter off again and clean the main positive and ground connectors thoroughly as well.

its probably the ALUMINUM battery cable going from battery to starter. Mazda used aluminum opposed to copper for some reason just had the same problem with mine.
