Lookie here what I found today at my buddies salvage yard....
He towed this in from a dui case and he said hell sell it to me for cheap.
under $500 . The body is mint! no dents at all. the inside is dark brown leather with no backseats, looks to be 2 compartments in the back....
but its a 5speed with a short shifter and has an exhaust on it.
The first thing i did was check the oil and its holding oil in it and doesnt look dirty either. Hes gonna get out there monday with me and get it started.

color is beige i picked one up two weeks ago. Make sure you pull the plugs and hand turn the motor over to see if its free. If it locks up stop and do the atf treament. If its been sitting along time be carefull dont just throw a battery in and crank it . that could be a two grand mistake.

yall think i should just pay for it and get it towed to my house???
kind of a pain to be tryin to mess with it in a salvage yard.....
its not even 5 miles away from my house.

im only gonna pay like 300 hundred for it and it only has 120,000 miles.
im not gettin raped outa the deal even if something might be wrong...

For under 500 definitely! No matter what you do you can always part it out for that. Win win situation.

Great find, my guess is that it floods like crazy(common for the se). I guess the injectors start to leak after so many miles when you shut the car off. Then when you go to restart it all you smell is fuel as you crank your battery dead. Mazdatirx website has a great de-flooding write-up on this. Good luck with the se it looks like a nice one.
