84 fuel cut relay

84 fuel cut relay

Can anyone tell me what the fuel relay looks like and it location under the dash. My haynes manual doent help at all,Thanks

It's a yellow zinc coated cylindrical thing with a black connector (4 wires) on the gas pedal side of the steering column.

Thanks I will try and look for it oversized body can get in there if not skinny son has a job.

Just lay on your back on the seat and stick your head under the dash. It's awkward but also the only real way an adult can see under the dash.

thanks i managed I really thank you. I have a strange fuel problem and wanted to bypass the relay.

I bypassed mine and just jumpered it and put a fuse in the wire (10amp) and works like a champ.
