84 dash swap into 83

my question is regarding the electrical. does anyone know what i would have to change to get the 84 dash to work in my 83? I dont need any HVAC (blower, heater core, ducting, or even wiring. The 84 has the same options as my 83 does. i bought the 84 for parts, and the interior is almost perfect. the dash in my 83 has a glue on dash cover i got from black dragon. also, anyone with a pic on how they mounted a radio in the 83 dash?

Interesting swap, I've always wanted an 83 interior with a SA console and shifter. Nothing wrong with my S3 Dash, I do love it.

i read somewhere that if you use the 83 tranny hump mount witht the 84 dash it will bolt there, the side bolts bolt right up, but the top bolts dont. not a problem, neither are the hvac componets as i dont need them. im just worried about the wiring. it shouldnt be horribly off, and im sure i could just repin the connectors if i have to, i wont need half the wiring anyway. i like that it looks like oil press, oil temp, and water temp will find right in the 84 center dash part where the hvac ***** are. but it sucks because i spend hours on my 83 dash and it looks good.
