So is the Phantom series neither of the above then?

Also, can anyone clarify the size issue four posts up?

Okay, so I will assume that defprun's assessment of the hole size is off, since everyone else is saying that a 52mm (2 1/16") gauge will fit.

Is the Phantom series that Directfreak is recommending better or worse than the Pro-Comp series that Felix Wankel recommends?

Engine should be in this weekend. I will need the gauges soon...

got a spare panel sittin here in my lap, the clock hole measures 49mm or 1 15/16"
not sure what the body diameter of the gauges are.

Okay, that clarifies it for me... I think. The diameter of the FACE of the gauge is 52mm (2 1/16"), and the body diameter will barely squeak into the hole.

Anyone have any info on the quality of the Phantom Autometer gauges as opposed to the Pro-Comps?
