No ****. I was just confused as to why someone would be so lazy (stupid) just so they can **** up their engine mounts instead of doing something the right way. But whatever works.

Where else would it be located? The glovebox?

I've got everything unbolted but this one bolt on the top of the tranny that goes to the engine, it's holding the metal loop that I use to pull the engine out, I've tried everything (I think) to get this thing loose but it wont budge. I'm open to any ideas, I was thinking I could get a sawsall and just cut the top of the bolt so it's not tight any more but there's a lot of stuff close to it that might get screwed up with a sawblade,

(if the bolt you are talking about is still in its original place and Im not confusing it with a diffrent one)
Its the 14mm bolt with the loop on it and at the end of the bolt it had a nut, you should be able to just pull the engine out without removing this bolt cuz its not threaded to the tranny, I tried posting a pic but its too large. As long as you have removed all other bolts and that one nut behind the bolt with the loop, you should be able to separate the engine from the tranny. Try prying a bit close to that area and you will see what I mean.

make sure you already got all the bolts undone before you get too crazy prying them loose.
someone correct me if Im wrong:
remove starter (one long bolt, one short bolt)
after starter there is one more bolt there holding the engine and tranny together
while down there directly opposite of that bolt on the exhaust side there is another bolt
there is also a bolt below the oil filter area and same on opposite side of engine
then one nut on top half of engine (the one with the loop on it)

sorry, to be more specific it's the nut that's attached to that bolt. but that is the one. I thought I could just cut it off at the top and pry it off

I took a saws all to it from the drivers side. finally sliced it to pieces and now the engine is out and I will be working on getting new parts to put it into the 83' 12a (used to be) I'm thinking that I need a flywheel and pressure plate...I believe that's what my dad said. any other ideas?
