83 Rx-7

Hi everyone i need some advice. my Dad is looking to buy a 1983 Rx-7 in mint condition with only 30,000 original miles on it. Also this car was specialed ordered with a atomatic transition which he was told they only came manuel. So how much do you guys think he should pay for it??????????

They came with both, but autos are more rare. First thing is check for rust EVERYWHERE. Especially in the wheel wells and under the storage bins. Does everything work, good tires, runs, drives? Need more details to figure on price

Welcome to the forum. Check out the faq page at the top and read the archives and get used to using the search button. First off, why does he want auto?? It's no fun. I guess he can convert it tho. We need lots more info. Like any rust behind the storage bins, wheel wells, etc. Has it had regular oil changes, etc. God bless

Post pics. That will give us a better idea of value. Rare or not, auto trannys tend to devalue a 7, it's a sports car, not a secretary's car like the first Mustangs target marketed as.
