easiest would be to go to 5*114.3...there are several adaptors which don't require a different suspension set-up...although cpracing is hard to deal with at times and many of their items are quite expensive, one thing that I would for sure buy from then again if I ever get another first gen would be their wheel adaptors...very well engineered and extremely durable!!

Really CP racing has a good product? LOL I have been thinking of using adaptors just not sure how safe and how good it would be. There is a local shop that does them and about the same price as CP Racings.

cp racing

How do you get in touch with them? They do not have the adapters or their phone # on their website. I have e-mailed them and received no reply. The phone # that I found on the net has been changed and the changed # is no longer in service! May threads make their adapters sound to be the best, but how do you get them?
It must be Hockey season again!

You may need 20mm spacers if they are +38 Universals.

Honda Civics rock 4x100, so you may have a problem there.

Another question. Are the ring gears on the diffs the same between the 1980 which i have, and a diff from a gsl se?

I got very lucky when i asked my original question on a local forum and someone just gave me the whole rear end and 2 sets of front strut housings and brakes. but the diff ring gear and pinion gear are hammered.

Find a fresh SE 3rd member, you will be better off in the long run. I don't know if the ring and pinion are interchangeable or not. Felix Miata's web page may tell you if they are.
