Anyone know what the thickness of the clutch discs for a GSL LSD should be? Minimum specs, so forth. I have it apart on the bench right now and if they need to be replaced then it'd be a good time for that.

I don't know off hand, but I've got an '83 FSM at home, so I can check for you later today. You could check http://www.wankel.net/~krwright/cars/rx7/manuals.html in the '85 manual. I don't know if the clutch discs were changed for the '84-85 model years or not.
PS: Is it as freaking cold in the 'Peg as it is back here in Toontown? I think the high is minus 12 today.

Thanks a lot, really appreciate it. Could you also post or scan some info from the FSM? That site is conveniently missing the section on the rear axle.
It's actually pretty nice out today. -13 degress outside right now. Sure beats last weekends freakish -40s.
