'83 FSM Bound Copy

Hi,

I see where I can download a FSM here, but does anyone know where I can buy original bound copies of the 1983 Factory Service Manual and Parts manual.

Thanks!

Yeah. I love working on cars. The RX7 is going to be the most modern project I have tackled.

Over the years, here are the cars that I've had fun working on:

'60 Triumph TR-3
'69 Fiat 850 Spider. What a POS!
'52 Chevy pickup
'48 Chrysler New Yorker
'40 Plymouth
'50 Chrysler Windsor
'68 Porsche 912
'71 Mercedes 280SE
'64 MGB
'69 GTO
'72 Corvette
'72 Landcruiser (ongoing - it's my snowplow. See below)

Thanks to all of you for your input. I found (a not so anonymous tip lead me there) a FSM on EBAY for $25 and it's on the way to me.

My experience has been that the pix in the scanned PDFs tend to be clearer than those in the modern printed copies... seems like some of the later MAZDA-authorized printings were copies of copies of copies.

Hopefully you found an older one!

Good point! I have found the same with some reprints. This one "allegedly" (I can use the Big O's terminology, too) is an original, printed in 1983. We'll see.

I have 8-9 FSMs, all from eBay, ranging in cost from 4-25 bucks. The 87 manual looked like it had never even been opened. I've nearly worn out my 85 manual and the $4 score was a 74 RX4 manual. Even picked up and 83 manual for rebuilding differentials.
