Well, im new to the 12a and carb thing. I have owned my GSL-SE for over a year now and have loved every minute of it, we recently ghot a 83 and put a 12a in. After getting it all put together we got it started and it runs decent, slight miss, above like 1500 rpm, but if u get under 1500 rpm then it sputters and tries to die. My first thought was we lost compression cause that is how my 13b acted when i lost the rear rotor. I take out l1, 3 strong pst, put l1 in and remove l2, three strong pst. Pretty good compression, hmmm. I checked over vacuum lines couldnt see any off or anything. Anyone have any ideas. this is a completely stock 12a, except the exhaust stops right after the cats. Also my dad seems to think it is a california emmisionscarb, i am not sure thou. Anyone have any thoguht on what is wrong, or if it is a cali emisions?
