i have an 82 rx7, when i drive it a weird bumpy noise occurs .like something is hitting the steering arm or something. but i think the problem is related with the steering . drives fine , but noise is annoying . anyone have a guess , or knows this problem.

 

Jack your car up before you go drivng again and do a "nuts and bolts" check. Pull/push on the steering componets as well as your suspension. Something like that needs to be identified ASAP man, no guessing.

 

thats what i did today but man , everything looks fine . but the noise sounds like its coming from the steering gear that controls the arm. may be i have to do an overhaul or replace it .
