81 nikki carb problems!!!

My 81 nikki carb is being a bit of a bastard or may its me but the problem is that its getting flooded BAD the secondaries two holes are filled to the top so are the other two holes are also filled. I just fixed the needles like a month ago and the car ran fine. The needles had some crap on them and no didn't mess with seating of them i made sure. Please can anyone help!!

I'm thinking of rebuilding the carb, but kinda don't wanna take it to a mechanic to do it because they'll more likely charge as much as a new car.

Does anyone know where i can buy a new carb for my 81 its kinda my second option. If you can tell me where that would be awsome.

Yes, either Sterling or myself will be cheaper than a local mechainc for a rebuild, even after shipping. Check around locally if you want and see what they charge.

You guys are really cheap. I would recommend the above on a complete rebuild. Considering I just overhauld mine, and me being a mechanic, these guys are your best bet.

Oh, and it sounds like the needles being stuck. Mine were after the build and I tapped the top of the bowl with a hammer. Problem fixed.....but for how long?
