81 gsl help

Hey guys I know you guys are pros in these matters,

Ive got a 81 gsl rx7, and i need some help,

1. i recently replaced the ignition coils, and my rpm gauge stopped workin i was wonderin the possible problem and also the easiest way to remove the gauges and check them.

2. my fuel gauge is stuck on 3/4 any tips....

Is that plug for the distributor unplugged?

you probably forgot to attach a wire onto the coil, thats why your tac's not working.

hmmm, what plug for the distributor,

and all the wires are connected-- theres like three of them, two on the negative and on the positive, of each coil...

is it possible that the plug or wire in back of the guage is comming off or damaged???

yes, they are clean, ahmm lets see... i installed the coils--msds, not performance ones just stock replacements, ahhm, after that i drove it for like a week-- everyday driver-- then i noticed the decline in the gauge, first it would go up to like 5000 rpm then go to drop to zero, although there was no actual drop in engine rpm, the problem gradually persisted, now the gauge is, for lack of words, dead..... is it possible that the msds damaged the wire leading to the gauge??? -- if i had a schematic i could figure it out...
