81-85 Tail Light Seals?
look up the part number in the factory parts book and try this website to see if it is still in their system.

Otherwise you can just post a WTB thread and see if anyone has some good used ones.

Don't actually own a factory parts book, isn't there a PDF of it online somewhere? From past experience buying it from people results in it being the same condition as the ones trying to be replaced :[
I looked up the part numbers:
FA01-51-153A (RIGHT)
FA01-51-163A (LEFT)
Neither show up on Doc's link, though.
It is too bad because I wanted to replace my seals too. I guess I shouldn't have waited.

^^ How did he get mazdaspeed hook up? Is it competition oriented? As in like he has to race X amount of races a season?
My guy at mazda can get me miata club and SCCA discounts on top of what he gets it for.

All you do is send 2 printed results from any competition to them, and then 2 results per year.

Another option is the black rope caulk that can be found at the dealer. I used that to install the new rear tail light lens on my Toronado Trofeo. That's a single lens that covers the full width of the car and the caulk is the only thing that attaches it to the body. It also remains pliable over time.

If you are building a car, they will allow you to buy parts as long as you belong to a club. And you need to provide results within a year, something im going to have trouble doing this year unfortunately haha.
Could you not just make seals? or silicone?

I used "duct seal" it is used in electrical junction boxes to seal out weather. It looks just like modeling clay, hell you could probably use modeling clay. You can get it at Home Depot or Lowes. I rolled it into smaller strings of clay and formed my gasket. Worked great.
