I just replaced the alternator o my sa with a s4 alternator, its working great but I have no idea if the voltage regulator stays or goes.If its got to go I'm sure that some modification needs to be done .If anybody have do this before and could show me the way...Thanks in advance..Hector

 

no junk the voltage regulator. Look at the archives for SA-FB upgrade Or just run an ignition wire to the alternator's field terminal only but your volt meter wont work.

Hey wacky wich one is the field terminal?Removed the regulator earlier and no charging so I must have this wire hook up.I put a voltmeter guage so the factory can be deleted.

 

field terminal is top of the "T", look at the pix. the loose wire is where you can hook up the aftermarket volt meter.
