79 nikki bigger than 85 nikki?

I was told by some people the other day that the 79 carb had slightly more CFM than the 83-85 or maybe that just the floats where bigger, is this true?

Sterling is the man you want , IIRC the air horn is bigger/different, but gains would be negligible.

I think I read something on Sterling's site about the gains being negligible but they didn't do back to back tests without the choke butterfly.

Just modify it for extra flow, then it won't matter which model you use.

when pro7 was hot in like 1997, they got flowbenched or dynoed back to back. they were making 118-120hp at the WHEELS, with the stock exhaust manifold.
