79 LE on the road again!
Well after what feels like the longest week we have (knock on Wood) fixed all the little quirks and problems that have arisen thus far and I just got home from a great ride.
Alternator and Regulator appear to have fixed the light problem, thanks guys, and we have changed every fluid and hose and belt we can.
Can't take her out and cruise like I would like until the safety inspection is done tomorrow, but damn it feels good to know we are that close.
Thanks for all your help and support! Look for us on the road.

just curious how many 1979 LE came out. i bought one..almost a year ago and just got it running again recently after a long period of playing doctor. i need to reg and smog it but just curious how many are out there and alive.
they are really fun to drive, different feel then the fc3ss we have. my dad is starting to love the car. i think my brother and i (fc owners) are rubbing off rotary on him...he drives it around our yard (1 acre) all the time. he washes the car so often, i should just give it to him as a present.
