79 Intake on a 85 12A!

Today i recieved the 79 intake that I will be putting on my 85 gsl , i was told that it performs better than the stock. Well im asking for advice or maybe help, does that intake bolt right up or do i need to do some modifications? And if possible can it be ported bigger?

DO NOT PORT AN INTAKE! You need to keep the port size difference to keep the air/fuel mixture properly vapourized (I don't know the proper name).

This has come up many a Time around here, so do a search.

By the way, welcome to the forum! Use the search function first, then post if you can't find anything.

Hey Papo,
Look in the archives, I believe there is a thread that will tell you all the things that you need to fill in to make the manifold swap.

Good luck
