I recently found another complete 79 LE with a glass moonroof. Anyone ever replaced the hardware on these before? The hinges on the front look like they're the same Mazda parts that the solid removable roof has, but they attach to the glass differently. Haven't had any luck finding replacements for these and it looks like the mounting hardware for the back latch is missing too. Anyone know where to buy this stuff?

 

You're probably going to have a hard time finding any of those "nuts" I'm missing one on my 83 glass roof (I'm sure the hardware is similar) and it seems that unless you want to buy another glass roof to use for parts there are no new sources for those nuts (or buttons whatever you want to cal them) Although I do remember at some point someont posting they found another car that had similar hardware he was able to use, but can't remember who it was or what the thread was called, maybe someone else remembers?
BTW good luck with that car, glad to hear you got it running, hope you are taking pics along the way.
