79 Distributer Conversion ?

I want to wire up an electronic dizzy to my 79 to rid myself of these points. I know what has to be done but am more of a visual guy I looked for a write up in the archives but couldnt find anything. Maybe someone has pics of one of their cars with this dine maybe not maybe I can get a nice little write up of how its done going. Either way I have an fb distributer and want to replace the 79 points style distributer with this one. What do I do?

I wish I had documented it when I did it a few years ago. It's not difficult, but I know what you mean about being visual. I did mine from this tutorial:

Here is another one:

Good luck!

I just did it as well. it's very simple if you follow the mazspeed tutorial. The hardest part for me was reinstalling the distributor, I messed it up and the car wouldn't start. Make sure you line up the timing mark on the dizzy gear with the dizzy shaft when you reinstall.

I can try to get some pics for you, but I pretty much buttoned up and hid all the new wiring so you can't really tell what's going on anymore.
