Just cause the guy has not run a number does not mean he has not made the power he claims.


I suppose people like Racing Beat should not be believed with ANY power claim they make cause their engines have not run the numbers in a drag car.

The world does not revole around drag times or people who are involved in drag racing, wether it be rotaries or any other types of engine.

I presume he is talking about 90 mph in a straight line simply applying the throttle in 3rd, it takes ALOT of power to do this.

The guy has run a 10 before, so you would assume it has good traction ? and not so shitty tires.....

I don't think 680rwhp12a is making the power he claims, and no one else does either. No one else has done it and it is easy to make claims on the internet.

As for Racing Beat, well, who would you believe? Racing Beat saying they made 1000fwhp from a 3 rotor 3 turbo PP that holds a land speed record or some guy claiming 800fwhp from a 12a turbo with ZERO proof besides what he says it made?

Its all about credibility. Some people have it (Racing Beat) and others don't.

True the world does not revolve around drag racing, but its the best BS meter on the planet.

Before I raced at Heathcote I took the car for a quick drive on my AO32Rs. I had zero traction through the first 3 gears on 12 pounds of boost. The car might have had 380 at the back tyres? Why did it break traction that easy with sticky tyres? Because the car was 300lbs lighter without an interior or stereo in it.

I have run 10's and i have pics of my car in the top of 3rd frying the slicks! thats over 100mph and i had no where near 680rwhp and tyres that were good enough for a 1.49 60 foot
on street tyres i could pick a gear ease into it and smoke the bags no problems at all.

here is my dyno sheet @ www.rotaryshack.com/dyno the phone # is on the sheet .. call them.. the last time i had the car at the track it had the nikki carb on it ... it went 10:40 @ 137 mph with a 1.59 60 foot time... the car was making 540 whp at the time....since i switched over to efi i havent been to the track.... im still tweaking the car for more power... and driveability...but i will keep you updated..

I can show you a dyno sheet with 800rwhp with my name on it, does that mean my car as 800rwhp?? no,

prove that it has the power, run it, as steve said it is the best bull **** stopper,

I've been TRYING SO HARD to not put in my 2cents.....but here they are....I watched that car make 680HP on the dyno, in fact the SAME dyno Abel uses to tune his cars (meaning it is a VERY respected reliable dyno outfit) Truthfully, realistically to actually put that much horsepower in a street car (which it is) it is going to be VERY difficult to have traction w/o having the motor in a chassis car.....but the plain matter of fact and I think the point here is that a 12a is GREAT for making h/p...and a whole lot of useful h/p can be made with it such as in the case of that particular 12a. If anyone is intersted , I am POSITIVELY sure that he would be more than willing to build you an identical motor to put in you cars....cause thats what he does!

It's just the simple consequence of a series of poor business mistakes, followed by denial, followed then by lies and more denial, when all you had to do is admit to making mistakes (we’re all human), seek to correct them as best you can, and ask for forgiveness… its called repentance… or good customer service…

Its always easier for people to focus on the bad when the bad is so visible, the good on the other hand is rarely visible. Trust is something earned. If you do good business you’ll be fine, but you could possibly say sorry… it goes a long way to restoring your good name (I don’t doubt you can do good work, I’m just not sure if you would do it the first time, or fix it the second)

why doubt it?? because dynos are easily fooled and there are lots of bullshit artists out there.
i can prove my car makes 500+fwhp by the weight and the MPH at the strip, can he prove it? no, can you? no,
if it has the power it claims we will see high 8 sec passes at 150+mph until it runs these numbers i wont believe that it has the power he claims...

I have proved my power many times, I have data logs to prove it. Circuit times to prove it.

In my opinion, 680rwhp12a is not making that much power WITHOUT nos.

Delerium is making close to that power, possibly, with alot of NOS.

I will not believe that 680rwhp12a is makign that much power until it runs ANY et with a terminal of 150mph+.
