5.8 sec. 0-60 (G-teched)

I only got to do one good run. Anyone that lives around here knows there is alway someone else on the road no matter where you go around here. I just found a straight level strip, stopped (I know the guy the was in front of me was wonder whyI just stopped in the middle of the road) and I got a 5.8 starting in 2nd gear. The meter is saying I'm only putting out ~165hp net, but I keep getting 1086+ ft/lbs readings with that. I need to replace my clutch too-slipping to bad.

I thought that you needed to average two runs, in opposite directions to average 'out' wind and slope.

Do you think that 1000 ft/lbs torque is wrong???

Absoultly the 1000+ ft/lbs is wrong. I thought it said 108 at first and then I saw the 6 at the end. I agree there needs to be an average, I was saying though around here there is ususally ALWAYS someone behind you in front of you or coming towards you. Also it's hard to find level ground around here which just compounds the issue.

with my stealth I used to get the old G-techs to say I was running 0-60s in the 2second range LOL!

I have a little side road I go down, but inevitablely (sp) there is always someone there too. I'm using one of the new G-tech, I have a little faith in it because when I did my Suby I was around where my parents live which has nice lots of flat land and a very low population and the figures were in a consistant range.

The torque, man I have no idea. It wouldn't be a bother if it just happened once, but it happened a few times.

You'd think that both torque and hp would be off since they are all related. Does the unit have the ability to display the weight that you inputed?

That's the only value that is entered, isn't it?

If it's doing it more than once, then you can't trust the G-Tech anymore, she's broken...

If you don't have the car weight almost perfect, the numbers are useless. Have you weighed the car? If not you might as well be pissing in the wind.

As for torque, you may as well be putting down 1000ft/lbs in second gear. In 4th, at 1-1 ratio, it's a different story. Sounds to me like you didn't wind it out, IE, numbers are wrong.

You need to take it to a dyno. $70 is a lot cheaper than a ticket for wrong numbers.

What set up are you running as far as the eninge goes?
