Question 45 dcoe

Im gonna instal a weber 45 in my 12a bridge ported and i need some advice on the jets setup.
If anyone of u guys have this setup help me out, tell me how big can i go.
before this i was runnig a holley 650 and is a powerfull engine.
Plus now I got a 75 show wet kit that im also gonna put on so, I need your help.

General rule for weber jets is venturi dia x4 for mains, take that and add about 50 for airs. Hopefully you have around 40mm chokes to feed that engine. With that in mind I've found rotary's like more main and less air correction so around 190-200 mains and 230 or so airs. This will get you close but some dyno time is your best money spent for tuning, don't believe your "butt dyno".

Too small, you should be running a 48mm instead.

same here, a 45 carb will choke a bridge, i would use a 50mm carby

well

the 45 its the only thins i got right now so mind as well make the best of it.
thats why i need some suggestions in how to yet it.

run it w/o the main chokes drive ability will suffer, but it can and has been done. I's say 210 for main jets, 140 a/c, 55 pump jets, and 65f9 idle jets.
