I have a 4 port 13 B and i went to drop it in last night and the motor mount dosnt fit! Is a 13 B mount and i have a 12a and that dosnt fit either. i have an 85 gsl. Why dosnt it fit?

 

Do a search for 13b into 12a car.
You can notch them out but might need the se oil pan.

 

you need the se front cover (or a 12a one) and a se oil pan.

 

I have 13b oil pan and a 13b front cover the problem is the engine is too far ahead like i have a 12a mount but i have a 13B

 

That's beacuse the crossmember is set further back for the 12A. You need to slot the holes on the crossmember by 10mm and the holes on the engine bracket by 10mm and it will drop in. Either that or get a Racing Beat 12A to 13B engine bracket.

When I made the 4 port 13b swap I simply redrilled holes for the motor mounts ....... about 15 years ago.
