300 foot pounds???
i use a torque multiplier 1 lb in get 4 lb out. it will do an output max of 1250 lb feet. its the **** for doing main pully bolts when you do a timing belt. now what i do on a rotor rebuild is hit the flywheel on and off with my 3/4" impact it does 2 or 3 hammers and then vroom off goes the nut. makes in car flywheel swaps GRAVY.
I have my 120lb girlfriend hang from 3 foot pipe slid over breaker bar. 360 ft/lbs. She gets a kick outta it when I ask her to do chin ups. Then put some blue locktite on the end of the e-shaft threads so it won't back off.
It actually won't back off because the direction of rotation of the engine is opposite the lefty-loosey of the nut. Of course a little vibration over a long time can move things.
