3 rotor 1st gen????

Has this been tried? And with what success and cost. I'm starting a new build build. Thanks...

Yes it has been done but I would say you are looking at at least $10k on the swap...Likely more.

I would recommend putting twice that ($20, 000) aside, but be prepared to spend more on all the other supporting goodies ie. bigger brakes, stronger rear end, suspension.

So you're a newb with 85 posts. Have you purchased the engine yet?

I wouldn't say newb. I just don't post must, unless I have a question or valid input. But if that means I'm a newb, than ok...yeah. No, I haven't bought a new engine yet. I just dropped the car off at PFS to have Ray take a good look at it. The engine seems fine. I was just wondering about how to get more power without going turbo.

So you've accepted the moniker of newb. That's the first step. Now see this for tips on how to get more power without going turbo. https://www.rx7club.com/naturally-aspirated-performance-forum-220/changing-intake-opening-closing-turbo-engine-na-use-923259/

haha 20,000 dollars.
if you buy a re-man bridge port 13B for 4000-5000 then put 2000 in your brakes and rear end you could get in under 10,000 or just hack it away one piece at a time start with brakes then move up.
BUDGET BUDGET BUDGET take a couple years and be ready for fun.

Thanks for the positive info. I'm in no real rush. I have a full bridge single turbo 3rd gen, so this time around I was really liking the idea of a NA car. Hell I would through a 4 rotor in it if I thought my wife wouldn't miss that much money.

there's a few good articles on this conversion in the free 1st gen e-book available to download on my website...
Also, there's a 3 rotor 1st gen build going on here...

I thought he meant 20b turbo. So the extra money would be for a rebuild, the turbo, turbo manifold, custom exhaust, intercooler and piping etc...
