Has anybody put in a sec cig lighter to have an additional power source?

I need a second source to power the phone and radar dector........just got the Uniden GPSRD.......works great and gives speed too.......

Either one of those arent Hi power draw objects. Ever seen a cig lighter Y cord? Wal mart has em, as do most car audio shops and best buy's
