2nd gen wing

My friends 2nd gen was totaled and wants to know if his wing of his 2nd gen would fit on a 1st gen. I personally don't think it would look good even if it did fit, just because of the size. I told him I would still see if anybody knows if it will fit or not. Just let me know. Thanks, Josh.

The flat style, which gives the most down force, probably won't, the GTU style might.

There is the Sport, and GTU/Turbo wing. They wil both fit with modification. But in the end the GTU/Turbo wing loks better IMHO

I have both wings sitting in the basement, maybe I should do a test fit.

There was also the finish line wing If i am not mistaken. THe sport bolts onto the back(i think that is right) and the GTU/Turbo from the top. I test fitted my GTU wing onto my old car, and if I had made the holes and everything it would have looked pretty good.

Yeah thats the GTU wing, it fits but its really close to the edge of the car. You could cut a section out of the middle and fiberglass it back together to get it the exact size you want. THe nif you like it smooth and paint.

That is the GTU style wing. There are 2 version of that, one is foam and the 87 Sport came with a fiberglass one.

Was there a 1990 GTU? He has a 1990, I don't know what exact model though. It's an auto and I heard one model came with just auto but maybe I heard wrong.

With minor, you mean as in....? Not cutting thing wing in half or nothing, just putting some new screws to hold it down?
