2nd Gen Turbo on GSL-SE?

Comes complete with all lines, heat shields, intercooler, manifold, blow off valve, and wastegate.

What else do i need to get to mate this to a 13b 6 port, or wont it work like that?

Will i have to upgrade my intake and if so, to what?

I think you need a spacer for the header so your intake manifold will fit. And I'm sure your SE fuel injection is not up to the the task. Search in the 2nd gen section. They seem to turbo 6ports regularly.

Correct me if I am hearing you wrong. You are saying that you can just adapt a 2nd gen turbo to the already existing GSL-SE Block? If sao what kind of Hp does that create. Also Alex you said that the fuel injection is not up to the task. Could you just upgrade the injectors. Intresting idea. I have read a lot of the 2nd gen 13bt swap articles however none on just adapting the turbo system to the GSL-SE's system.

I expect the injectors could be upgraded to a certan extent. But you'll probably need a standalone if you intend to run more than about 6-8 psi. which is about all youd want to run on on a NA 6port anyway. But I hear these things pull really hard on just a whiff of boost. As I said, the 2G NA guys are the ones to talk to about this, I've never looked into this seriously, and turboing a 2G NA is extreemly similar to turboing a GSL-SE. You just need all the T2 parts and a few extras.

The GSL-SE has high compression rotors, so don't expect a turbo setup to last long, especially if you don't run 94+ octane.

There can be good longgevity, as long as you keep boost levels sane.

What kind of longevity can you expect? And are there any mods that you can perform that will increase the longevity? I think that it is really cool that the gsl-se come with a efi engine and would hate to take it out...there is something about an unmolested ar that I really like. Kinda makes you feel like your car was made for that hp. Great analogy...V8 Rx7's. Good power but you just gotta keep that rotary in there.
