2nd gen subframe - help!
I am about done with the installation of a 2nd gen front subframe, steering rack & suspension under my '85 GS.
Can anyone tell me the stock height of the top lip of the front wheel wells (at the outside fender) above the ground?
If there are height specs for some other point in the front of the car that would be fine also.
Thanks,
Bob

I had 2 1st gens sitting side by side, on had the stock suspension with 120k, the other had a new set of lowering springs. Both cars sat about 24" at all 4 wheel wells.
The FSM specifies body height at the center of the bumpers at the bottom of the rub strip.
Front 450-524mm 17.72-20.24in.
Rear 474-534mm 18.66-21.02in.
That is with stock tires and wheels.
Check out Ausrotary.com, there is a very good write up on 1st gen suspensions.
