2nd gen seat swap problem

I picked up some TII seats to swap into my 83 and I was under the impression that to make them mount up correctly I just needed to mount them with 1st gen rails. Well I swapped all of the rails and they bolted up fine except for the inner one on the passenger seat. The holes on the rail are an inch too short to reach the mounting holes on the seat bottom. Is there anything I can do to make the 1st gen rail work? I've read that if you use the 2nd gen rail in this spot the seat becomes tilted because of the raise in the floor. Just looking to see if anyone has a quick solution before I go and modify the seat or the rails..

I just used the 2nd gen rails too and redrilled the inner rear hole to match. Works fine.

X2,
My seats went in fine with the 2nd gen rails (minus one hole that needed to be redrilled).

I never noticed the passanger seat being tilted or anything, so Id say the 2nd gen rails are the way to go.
Only problem I have ran into is that the 2nd gen passanger seat hits the side of the center console right by the shifter when you move it all the way forward. Not a big issue, but I wonder if the 1st gen rails would make any difference (doubtfull).

Got the first gen rail on there with the help of a few washers and a nut. I'll post some pics tomorrow for future reference if anyone ever has the same problem. I'll test fit the seats in the car tomorrow.

umm kay just did this not too long ago. The DS seat will need to have the 1st gen rails bolted to them. The PS will fit perfect with the 2nd get rails, no mods necessary.
