2nd gen rad swap?

I searched, but tere's a gap between recent threads and ones from '03 - I think they dumped a lit of the threads from the past 4 years.

Anywho, my car needs a new rad so I figure this is a good time to go 2nd gen rad & E-fan.

Other than the rad, what do I need?

What should I use to send the signal to the fan?

Is anyone making metal brackets to make this a bolt-in, or will I have to ccustom fab some?

I also need some FMOC mounting brackets...

The FC rad is taller and needs to be mounted on a slant. Then you need to fab the side/top/bottom plates to keep the air flow going through the rad instead of around it. I know, you probably have a spare FC rad laying around and want to use it to save money. Imho, the best/easiest option is to buy an aftermarket 3 core tall rad for a direct bolt in. I don't remember the supplier, but some of these can be had for under 120.

As far as powering an electric fan, I'm using the adjustable thermo switch sold at the parts stores with a relay. The relay is gets it's ignition signal from one of the coils, the power is from the FC fuse block that replaced the fusible links.

Nope, no FC rad laying around. I understand they mount on a slant in stock form, and thought with so many people doing the conversion that maybe someone had already fabbed sideplates for a bolt-in kit.
