2 complete cars....only need one

i own an 84 gsl-se thats been street ported, hollley 600cfm, complete racing beat 2 into 1 exhaust, racing beat springs with tokico shocks. this car is my baby. i live in japan rite now and will be back to the states and back with my car within a 1yr and a half, but while im here i decided to take advantage of the opportunity and bought an 86 t2 for 700bucks. its completely trashed and ugly as hell, but its still driveable and has all the parts i would need to start a first gen t2 project to include 5 lug conversion. i really dont know where to start and if theres anything else i would need. of course later on i plan on upgrading the project even further but first i gotta get the thing in my first gen and make sure it runs. i just need a few ideas, tips or suggestions to help me along. im also interested on where some of you would go with this if you had 2 complete cars and wanted to make something out of it.

checkme the search engine for t2 swap this been cover a lot of times. but the t2 its a straight drop in on the fb . keep the long block with harness and ecu. also keep tranny and and driveshaft as far as the 5 lug conversion check out respeed big brake conversion kit. hope this helps a little and good luck with your project.

It could be that we have answered TII swap questions so many times...............
Searching in the archives would have already gotten you on your way.
So I'll help you out but I warn you . You will be reading for awhile. :-)

Make sure you got plenty of printer paper and a good cartridge.

Hell, if you have a chance to do a 20B and could afford it I would go that route. :-)
