2nd gen direct fire

I know everything about them to get them hooked up. Just curious if anyone has experienced a problem with the resistor wired up? Just curious, currently I just took my DLIDFIS off and am going to try the 2nd gen approach. Just to play around, but don't feel like blowing an ignitor. Oh yea and the other ignitors i used for the DLIDFIS are 80s so I can't swap them, or don't want to swap them. Just curious how you guys have made out. I have everything installed on the car, just not hooked up...

ive done the dflis and took the seconds gen directfire a step further by using gm dis coils and you know what im using now? the factory disty withj gm igniters and msd blaster coils through stock cap and roter, its more consistent and reliable than all both other set ups, amd the tach works better too, just my experience, ps have diflis setup and gm dis set up to save you the trouble of mounting your own,
