280ZX Wheels on a FB.

I have a set of 280ZX wheels I NEED to have on today. I don't know what size lug nuts to get or anything. I need these things on ASAP as my front driver's tire has a big freaking screw in it, and I don't want to drop a bunch of money on tires or anything since I have these in the garage ready to go! Please help! Part no.'s, anything would be greatly appreciated!!!

Can't you just go to Autozone and buy a box of lug nuts? I'm confused about what the problem is. Do you not know the size to buy or what kind? A little more info please...

I don't know what size! I was informed that i needed different lug nuts to get the wheels to fit onto my gsl-se. Really, I don't know at all, i've never had to deal with wheels at all whatsoever.

I think that you are confusing the bolt pattern, with the thread size. You DO care about bolt pattern. That tells you where the bolt holes are located on the wheel. These must be correct. A GSL-SE uses a 4X114.3 bolt pattern. If the holes on the wheel and the holes on the GSL-SE match up, then you are fine there.

You also don't care about what thread lugnut a 280ZX uses. The lugnuts thread into the hubs, NOT the wheels. As long as the lugnuts seat inside the wheels properly, that is all you care about.

Does your GSL-SE have studs on the hubs or threaded holes?

Studs.

I took care of it. I went outside, put the 280ZX wheels on, i was just worried about the lugs not being the proper ones and therefore enabling some sort of failure. They fit, and look pretty good. Just need cleaned up.

For the tire with the screw in it, you could just go to any decent store and get a repair kit. Easy to use, and works well as long as you're not trying to repair a torn sidewall or something. I'm talking about the kind of kit that uses a plug...

If your tire has a puncture on the sidewall, you cannot/are not supposed to plug it. You need a new tire.
