225mm or 215mm Clutch

Can a 215mm clutch disk and pressure plate be used on a 225mm flywheel? For some reason I think this is possible, but I can't remember. Just thinking of spares for my racecar.

The smaller disk can be used but the pressure plate cannot. The 215mm clutch flywheels have a completely flat face, while the 225mm clutch flywheels have the friction surface heavily recessed (or, really, the pressure plate face is on pedestals)

Thanks Mel. I actually have both and was wondering if it was worth keeping them both. I have ordered a new 225mm and will keep the old one as a spare. You are welcome to the 215mm if you want. I am not sure of the brand. I am located north of San Diego.

keep you in mind. thank you. 215mm cores are getting hard to find. i had to shim the 225 pressure plate as im using 215mm rb aluminum and lightsteel flywheels (yeah from the 80s) in my Rx3 and SA.
