225/45/15 fit without rub?
225/45/15 fit without rub?
Here is the deal:

Tirerack have the Hankook RS-3 at $115. It is 140 treadware. My local track days are divided only between street tires or track tires. 120+ is designated street tire. But the hankook RS-3 doesn;t come in 205/50/25 they come in 225/45/15 is the same height and is only .5 more wide that the 205/20/15.
I have RB springs (for now) and I'm going to put some rota rb with 30 offset. Iknow that with 205 I will not have any problems from what I have search here but with 225 I don't know

depending on your offset, 225 shouldnt be a problem. i am currently running some old 240sx wheels on my SE. i think the offsets are pretty high on my wheels. the rears are 225 without any rubbing at all. the car is lowered about an inch and a half so its pretty low. so far no rubbing whats so ever...

I think you are going to have a problem with the fronts for sure. If you are using the standard offset then you shouldn't have a problem on the rears, if you changed the offset that could be a different story. I have used 225 without a problem on the rear of a stock body OEM offset, however when I changed to different set of rims, slightly different offset they rubbed, the front totally different the widest I ran was 205 anything more and I nailed the fender lip.
