20b questions
For those of you who don't remember me, I bought an 83 gsl with a seized 12a in it (it was the original engine). After lots of research without actually tearing the engine apart, I found out that it overheated (called the dealership it was last serviced at) and that it died soon after.
At that point in time I picked up an 86 fiero se (no flames please ) and I am fairly happy with that, but I cant get over the idea of running off a rotary engine. Besides, the fiero can be my dd until I get the 7 running again.
Enter roughly $10,000.
Now that I have the money, I'm really interested in trying to get a 20b into my 83 gsl instead of just rebuilding the 12a. I have the feeling someone has had to have done it before, but I don’t have any idea how they would have done it.
How do you mount it (would I have to fab mounts or could I buy them somewhere)?
What do you need to swap for it?
Can I/should I use aftermarket injection so that I dint have to re-wire the whole car?
And most importantly: WHERE DOES ONE GET THEIR HANDS ON A 20B? I honestly have no clue at all. (I know –think- you can make them with two 13b’s, but I wouldn’t know how to do it or where to get the parts for that)
Any and all comments/advice is more than welcome.

As I understand, it's pretty much entirely custom, and very expensive. (If you do it for $10k, lemme know... I'll do that instead of buying an FD )
You may want to poke around the 20B forum on here too

Thanks for the help guys; I will keep you posted as things progress. I will post the remainder of my 20b questions in the 20b forum, but I have a few more general first gen questions:
Does anyone know of any mounting kits for the 20b in a 1st gen? Should I worry about the tranny? Etc.
Just trying to gather some info here
Actually, the thought did cross my mind. You would be amazed how many kits are out there for engine swaps for that car....

Whew, thought you were gonna ask about putting a 20B in the Fiero.

Mounting Kits?
Nah, nobody makes those - no way to make any money on them. Just ask the last guy who paraded through here about making a kit and becoming the next Iberra
