Holy crap! That is insane. I almost crapped my pants when he revved it up that high for the takeoff, I didn't expect him to actually make traction but he sure did!

Attention please. Would everyone please put your tray tables and seats in the upright and locked position. We are getting ready for take off!!!!!!! Gezzzzz, that thing sounded like a turbine engine spooling up!!! Way cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn that ******* fast. He did rev it up pretty high on the take off. I wonder what he's running to get the traction to actually take off at that rpm.

I stopped breathing when I saw him heading towards the wall though...too close for comfort.

a buddy of mine bought a 6 speed supra gearbox custom made for his rx-3. very expensive, but they know their ****. i think the media is down, but i'm pretty sure that car is connected to them.

thats insane!!! gotta love that spooling turbo....god that would be scary fast...hes ******* up tho. gotta learn to control it (like i have room to talk...) thats badd *** when he took off too....its hard to believe that he made traction....being that the first gen is light as hell....i wonder if he had any kind of weight distribution in that thing....

If you check the site map and , click on the Adelaide 2005 news you get a little hint....

"EAT20B went out and ran consistently all day with his best being a 7.91@166mph, his personal best, he went on to run in the finals. The M&M racers' R100 and RX7 encountered gearbox problems ending their chances for a shot at the top eight final.
