Anything can be done if throw enough money at it! If you can get it cheap throw a carb on it and go! You would have to hook up linkage for the accelerator as the Renesis have electronic throttle response.

Not that difficult. The only "hard to find" part would be the intake and header, if you go that route. The motor itself if you can find one would be the most expensive part. The rest should be easy.....sorta.

Why not just use rx-8 rotating assembly with 4 port 13b housings and irons? Then you can just carb it.

Or if you want to be really ghetto use 12a irons and 13b housings with rx8 internals...LOL!

the ecu controls the ignition and the omp, so youll also have to find a way around that. you could run 2-stroke premix and eliminate the omp, but im not sure if a distributor can be used w/ the renesis motor.

so far the only renesis swap ive seen in a first gen actually retained all of the rx-8's fuel injection and engine controls...looked like an rx-8's engine bay w/ a first gen body around it

i think u should definetly do it. i think that the rennisis fb is frickin cool its my favorite fb besides blown and twisteds fb to fd. if i had a way to get a 13b rennisis and the time and alot of money id do it. imo i think its cooler than a t2 swap just not as good performance wise.
