Question 2 odd looking and odd placed sensors

hi I just took the driver seat out of my 85 Rex and found out that there is an aluminum covered wire going under the driver seat then out under the car and screwed there, then on the passenger side behind the seat under the floor mat there was this oval looking aluminum box with a black plastic round cap on it what in the world are these 2 odd looking sensors o and when I took the storage compartments out i found what looks to be 2 clarion amps dose that come stock with cars or was that installed after?

I had a stock clarion amp in my '83 parts car that was located behind/inside of the storage bins.

Your mystery sensor on the pass. side wouldn't be the exhaust overheat sensor, would it?

Thing under pass seat is probably exhaust overheat sensor. The wire under the drivers seat might be going to the fuel pump.
