2 more questions on my Oil Cooler:

1) Suggestions for getting the hose adaptor fittings out of the Oil Cooler without damaging the Oil Cooler. I got the hoses off, but the 2 adaptors are stuck in the inlet/outlet. I thought they were one piece until I got my Racing Beat kit and saw the parts. Unfortunately, the RB adaptors are required with the RB hoses. I'm looking to use some sort of WD40 liquid only better or maybe get an idea about heating it...

PS, the 85 model RB equipment does not fit the 86 model Oil Cooler I got for kicks so that is not an option at the moment.

2) Magnifying glass inspection revealed no cracks but I don't trust my visual inspection, who pressure tests these or should I just run to the junkyard and get a spair Oil Cooler in which hopefully I can diassemble and obviously, most likely isn't crack already?

Still Screwed,
Jason

If you want a 2nd gen oil cooler I have one, $30 + shipping... I just cut the old crimps off CAREFULLY, and then had the local rubber place crimp new crimps on my new steel braided -10 lines

A radiator repair shop should be able to test the oil cooler. I used to work in one.
