as i type with greasy hands i ask you is it normal for one of these engins to gather crud and oil in the engine if it sets with fuel and oil in it not crud in the oil pan but in the motor itself

second i really screwed up i pulled the plugs and wires off and have no clue which goes where i never even though about looking at there order first talk about a dumb move looking from the frunt of the car L1 is bottom first rotor L2 is bottom second rotor ?

L1 - bottom, front rotor
T1 - top, front rotor

L2 - bottom, rear rotor
T2 - top, rear rotor

Also, if you leave fuel and oil in an engine, they will gradually dry out and leave a slimy crud in there that barely resembles oil or fuel. HTH,

one good thing came from this evenings work i know at least one coil fire really well i had the plugs out and was crankilg the engine to get rid of the old oil and slim in the cambers and the frunt coil was arcing from the conection to the fram like 1.5" damn near blew the whole car with all the gas and carb cleaner every where

speaking of crud in the engine...

when i removed my intake manifold, i discovered a MOUND of dirt that had built up just above where the intake manifold mates to the engine. over time this had erroded through the gasket and i was able to scoop dirt out of the intake port with my finger.

engine still runs fine though
