I can't find an answer for the below in the archives and trying to review them on this tiny phone with my bad eyes is next to impossible. So, hoping you guys can help:

I have an '85 A12 engine. have installed a MSD 6A ignition box following the information from this user forum and MSD. I have run through the MSD problem shooting tree and the ignition and coil appear to be working correctly.

1. I have removed the igniter from the front of the distributer and I have wired the distributer pickups to the MSD box per the instructions (green MSD --> red pickup wire, purple MSD wire --> green distributer pickup wire). See photo. Question is, is there a way for me to check if the distributer pickup is working correctly?

2. Does the condenser on the distributer need to be hooked to power in this sort of setup?
