2 cars. One engine. FB or FC?

I thought I'd ask here because I need to hear from those running TII engines in FB's. I am in the process of buying a beautiful '84 GSL-SE with a blown motor. I also have a '89 GXL. And sitting in my shed I have a S4 TII engine that was destined for my FC but considering I found a GSL-SE in awesome shape (for almost nothing) I'm having a change of heart.

My original plan was to rebuild my TII engine and drop into my FC that already has a TII drivetrain. And then taking my S5 n/a engine and dropping it into an FB. But, I wouldn't even have to mod the TII engine very much to make that GSL-SE be wicked fast. So do I put the TII engine in the FC and the N/A engine in the GSL-SE and have two cars that kick ***, or keep the FC as a dd and have a FB that stomps mudholes in asses? I'm looking for the most efficient way to approach it.

There's your answer right there.
There is NOTHING like a Turbo FB.

No Turbo TII
No FD
No RX-8

is as FUN, as a Turbo FB.

It really is the way it should have come from the factory.

Not nearly as many turbo FB's as FC's.
Not nearly enough turbo FB's.
Plus the FB looks better.

Well how much power can a GSL-SE drivetrain handle? Obviously I would have to put a TII transmission (which I have an extra) so how is that going to work? I like the idea that the FB will require much less power to haul ***, but the FC is ready to go. A friend o mine back in the day had a GSL-SE with a stock TII engine (with a boost controller and FD exhaust) that ran high 12's. But he would bust something in the rear end all the time.

There are replacement axles from Respeed now for that.

I would go with the FB, lighter, most poeple wouldn't expect it, just watch some of direct freak's video's, its unreal. His car is the ultimate sleeper. But if you prefer a larger after market support, the FC is the way to go.
