Would this combo sound good at all or be to loud. Im driving it no with no exhaust and I really dont mind but i care what it eould sound like. NE one done this.

 

I would probably sugest a silencer in the place of the cats. Becouse I have header back with a free flow muffler and it is preaty darn loud especially when it backfires on me and I have the silencer in there already so I can only imagina how loud it would be without it.

i have a 2.75 all the way down from my RB headers to a stainless steal muffler, and i am quite when i dle but when i get up in the 3000+ rpms, WOOOO u better back up its LOUD. Very loud.

i dont know what everyone is talking about.........i have RB header with straight pipe to RB muffler and its so quite it pisses me off...i want to put a n1 style muffler on the back but cant find the over axle pipe unless i cut my rb muffler off and ad a flange to the back like the 80's style comes with the weld a flange onto the n1 can then i can just swap out the mufflers as i like.....either that or im going to buy one of those dividers that have a pull cord so you can alternate between your exghst route...but put nothing on one end and keep my RB setup on the other

 

that would be kinda sleek. My car aint that loud right now with no exhaust but it may just be me.

 

weld in a glasspack, or even better a magnaflow presilencer, and then a magnaflow rear muffler. very good sound.

 

I got a cat-back with magnaflow muffler right now. I LOVE the sound, itll be converted to straight all the way as soon as I finish the turbo, so it'll probably wind up to my tastes in loudness since a turbo kinda muffles a bit as well. And those backfires are fun, I say the louder ones are the BEST ones, i made a cop almost **** his pants when i was driving by one that pulled over a kid for racing, it backfired and he ducked his head down. Man I never laughed so hard in my life.

i have the rb header, to pre silencer, stock piping, to a custom piper over the axel, to a n1 style muffler, yes its very loud, i need to put a resonator in there so its not so tingy...

 

i want mine to back fire!!!!! once i took off my rats nest it stoped..but one time leaving my friends house i held the choke on untill i got to main street which has nothing but buildings so it echoed loud and all these girls from my school ducked and streamed..it reminded me of that ebaums world video with the air horn...and another time i got kicked off campus because they thought it was a gun and it scared students and staff

 

Removal of rats nest rids you of backfiring? Thats odd, well I know something that I'm not going to do any time soon.

 

well everbody says it does it more but....for me even if i pull the choke which was my trick dosnt work anymore

 

yah, instead of backfiring, youll just flame, you wont feel it or hear it, it will just happen, have somebody drive ur car that u trust, and tell them to bring ur car to like 8 grand in 3rd gear, then let off to 4 grand -hold it- then let off.. should flame

 

Is it safe to push a 12A up to 8K rpm?

 

Do you guys have any sound clips of your exaust setup. I think this could help alot of people in the quest to find an exaust for them.

 

You can bring a 12A up to 8000, but you hsouldnt make it a habit of lways going that high, and just dont hold it that high for more than a short instance.

 

I have magnaflow exhaust. I could take some videoclips (with sound, of course) with my digital camera inside and outside the car if you'd like.

 

a stock 12a to 8k? no, but modded and opend up...yes. im pretty sure... okay maybe 7 grand....

I only reved it to like 3500-4000, and it sounds better if you turn the volume up.
